My journey started as a troubled teenager who walked into a salon and had her life changed, not by the haircut, but by the way I felt. Heard, seen, and loved for the first time. That experience led me behind the chair, into teaching, and eventually into building Hair Love University and The Vitality Project. I've been in devotion to this industry ever since.
The Vitality Project is the beauty industry's first Workplace Wellness Program. It's a plug-and-play program that integrates directly into salon systems and beauty school curriculums. We address what the industry has long overlooked: mental health, emotional regulation, physical longevity, and healing for professionals who give everything to the people in their chairs. We knew that in order to change the entire industry, we had to support teachers as much as students.
Beauty professionals are the secret keepers and safe places for human connection. They're pillars in their communities. But burnout, body breakdown, and emotional exhaustion are rampant. Our wealth and wellbeing go hand in hand. You can't build a thriving career on a foundation that's falling apart. When we protect the people doing the work, we future-proof the industry.
Community is the heartbeat of everything I do. We are an education company, but we are community-forward. We believe in teaching in circle, where everyone can contribute. We're stronger together, we're better together, and we can really change the world together.

Elizabeth can work with a handheld or a wireless lavalier, whatever will give you the best audio for your stage and room setup. Please let her know what's available.
Elizabeth prefers an open stage with room to walk and move around the room, but she can work with any setting. Please let her know the layout in advance.
Lighting note: for some talks, Elizabeth dims the lights. For breathwork or meditation segments, low and warm lighting is ideal. Please confirm that house lighting can be adjusted during her session.
Elizabeth will prepare and bring slides the day of the event, no earlier than 24 to 48 hours before, to leave room for small tweaks and last-minute edits. She'll bring them on a USB drive, prepped and ready to go.
Please confirm the screen ratio (16:9 preferred) and clicker or presenter availability.
Elizabeth frequently uses video clips and audio recordings during her talks, including breathwork meditations, music, and short films. Please ensure the following are available:
An aux cord or Bluetooth connection to the house sound system. The ability to play video through the main screen or projector. Elizabeth provides all her own content and files.

Elizabeth books her own travel. She flies business class and always books the plus tier in order to have her team supporting her while traveling.
Hotel accommodations must be covered by the event host. You can book them directly, or we can invoice you.
All invoices are sent through QuickBooks. A deposit is required before the event, and the remaining balance is due within 30 days after. A late fee will be incurred for overdue payments. The W-9 is available on request: email us and we will send it the same day.
