Psychology Today Therapist Directory
The most comprehensive U.S. directory of licensed therapists. Filters by insurance, specialty, identity, and approach.
Our hearts are with you if you are navigating mental health challenges. We care deeply about the well-being of everyone in our community and hold the seriousness of mental and emotional health with great respect.
The Vitality Project is designed to support workplace wellness, wellbeing, nervous system regulation, soft skills, leadership, and personal growth. While this work can be deeply impactful, it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. If that support is needed, this work can sit alongside a licensed therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, or medical professional.
The Vitality Project team, facilitators, coaches, community moderators, retreats, programs, content, and AI tools are not licensed medical or mental health professional replacements. Nothing we offer should be interpreted as medical advice, mental health diagnosis, psychological or psychiatric treatment, or crisis support or emergency care.
The Vitality Project is centered on personal development, leadership, workplace wellness, and the practices and skills that support personal wellbeing, like nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and stress management.
Our work is trauma-informed. That means we know many people carry hard experiences, and we build our spaces, practices, and pacing with that in mind. It does not mean we do trauma work within our school programs, salon programs, or consulting programs. If you are looking for deeper support, Elizabeth Faye occasionally hosts healing retreats herself, with trusted facilitators, practitioners, and experts, and we also recommend getting additional support in those areas. The Vitality Project is centered on normalizing mental health, well-being, and wellness in a way that is appropriate for workplace culture.
The Vitality Project is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or clinical care. If professional support is part of what someone needs, we’re glad to sit alongside it, not in place of it. Growth is not linear, and support should never feel isolating or unsafe.
If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, please seek immediate help.

If a facilitator, coach, or community member sees signs that someone may need more support than The Vitality Project is built to provide, we do our best to say so with care and to point toward the resources on this page.
We cannot provide clinical guidance, therapy, or crisis intervention, and we do not coordinate care. What we can do is be clear about what we are, what we are not, and what we recommend. From there, please use the resources on this page, or your own list, to find support that fits, and for any emergency use the crisis resources above.
We know small businesses typically do not have an HR department, while some of our bigger organizations do. Here are some recommendations for owners, HR departments, managers, and anyone running a team or a facility like a beauty business. These are educational recommendations.
What you can provide is workplace wellness: keep your own list of resources, point people to any health benefits you offer, and create a safe work environment. Keep an owner’s list and a simple system behind it: someone spends a few hours a year researching local resources, help groups, associations, and networks, so that when a team member needs support, you know where to point them.
Within our community we always do our best to suggest nationwide resources, but, as always, please do your own research too.
Everything within The Vitality Project’s scope is appropriate for you to provide for your people within the workplace. Everything outside of that is either an outside-of-work matter, a medical or health benefit you provide for your team members if that fits your structure, or a resource you refer out to.
The Vitality Project exists to support, not replace, professional care. Our hope is that this work complements therapy, medicine, and other healing modalities, offering tools for regulation, reflection, leadership, and sustainability while honoring the complexity of mental health.
If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, please seek immediate help.
Our Commitment to You
