Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 11, 2026

1. Our commitment

The Vitality Project, LLC builds for beauty, barber, and wellness professionals, and that includes professionals with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to use our website and our member app, with whatever tools they use to get around the web.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at Level AA. That is our target standard. This statement is not a claim that we have reached it. It is a description of where we are, what we have done, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

2. What we have done so far

  1. Screen readers can move through our pages by structure rather than reading top to bottom, and they announce what each control is and whether it is on or off.
  2. Navigation, menus, forms, and controls can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on shows a visible focus outline.
  3. Images that carry meaning have alternative text. Images that are decorative are hidden from assistive technology so they do not add noise.
  4. Animation and motion are switched off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
  5. Text resizes with the browser, and we do not use color alone to carry meaning.
  6. Form fields have labels that stay visible, and error messages say what is wrong in words rather than only in color.

3. What we know is not right yet

This list is honest and incomplete.

  1. The site and the app have not yet had a formal third party accessibility audit. What is above is our own assessment, not a certified one.
  2. Embedded content from other companies, including the YouTube video player and our booking and newsletter tools, follows those providers' own accessibility support rather than ours.
  3. Some photographs have text inside the image. We are working through them.
  4. We are still testing. Anything we find that does not work, we name here, and we fix it.

We would rather publish a specific list of what does not work than claim conformance we cannot back up.

4. Tell us about a barrier

If any part of our website or app stops you doing something, we want to know, and we will fix it.

Email: support@jointhevitalityproject.com

Please tell us, as far as you can:

  1. The page or screen address, or a description of where you were.
  2. What you were trying to do.
  3. What happened, or what was missing.
  4. The device and browser you were using.
  5. Any assistive technology you were using, for example a screen reader, magnification, voice control, or a switch device, and its version if you know it.

You do not need all of that. Tell us what you can and we will work from there.

5. What happens next

  1. We acknowledge every report within 10 business days.
  2. While we work on a fix, we give you another way to get the content or complete the task, such as a transcript, a plain-text or emailed version, a walkthrough we set up with you, by phone or video, once you email us, or a member of our team doing it with you.
  3. We tell you what we found and what we intend to do about it, with a timescale.
  4. We fix urgent barriers, the ones that stop you completing something important, as a priority.
  5. We add every report to the list of known limitations above until it is fixed.

6. If you need something another way

If a part of the service is not usable for you right now, we will find another way to get you what you need. That might be a document in a different format, a walkthrough by phone or video that we arrange over email, a longer time limit, help completing a form, or a member of our team doing something with you.

Ask at support@jointhevitalityproject.com. There is no charge, and you do not need to explain or document a disability to ask.

7. Content we do not control

Parts of our pages come from other companies, including embedded video, booking, and newsletter tools. We choose providers with accessibility in mind and we raise problems with them, and we cannot fix their code ourselves. If something in an embedded feature blocks you, tell us anyway. We will look for another way to give you the same thing.

8. Keeping this current

We review this statement at least once a year, and again whenever we make a significant change to the site or the app, or when an audit finishes.
